Kozlov M asked:

I am trying to make beef jerky for the first time. Does anyone know whether kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce is good to marinade the beef jerky. I picked up the kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce and liquid smoke at the store. Would it work? ANd how much liquid smoke do I need to put in?

That would work perfectly. As for the Liquid Smoke, I would start with 1/2 tsp. and taste it.
    Good Luck!

If you like teriyaki jerky it will be fine. It’s a little too sweet for my taste, though.

Go easy on the liquid smoke. A little of it goes a long way. Maybe only one or two drops in enough marinade to soak 3-5 pounds of meat.
