beef jerky

I usually use London Broil, but my sister said it was too fatty. Any thoughts?
Flank steak would be too expensive.

Sirloin, but that will be more expensive than flank.
Just try a roast and cut it thin.

Well, if you think flank is too pricey, then you will surely think filet mignon is….which is what my husband and I use for jerky.

I use “Bottom Round” the Butcher knows how to slice it for me. Just tell them you want Bottom Round sliced for Beef Jerky. I assume a good Butcher should know what to do.

Im not sure what the cut of this meat is–but walmart sells a very very very thinly sliced beef that is just the best for beef jerky making. it comes out better than store bought.
it comes in one of their styrafoam things with the plastic sealed on top (their brand)
