Beef Jerky

Ok I was on the bus yesterday and this mom gave her, i think she must have been maybe 9-10 month old baby a piece of a beef jerky stick. Immediately the child it was a girl started choking and the mom stuck her fingers in the babies mouth to retrieve it!! Why !
